It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together – Taisha’s uplifting story.

Updated: Jun 17, 2019

Taisha initially worked for Source Group a few years ago as an administrator when she had to unexpectedly take a break from working to care for her Dad who has Alzheimer’s Disease. After taking a few years off Taisha was ready to get back into work but struggled to find a role that would allow her the flexibility she needed so that she could still care for her Dad.

Taisha started looking around for jobs that would allow her the freedom to learn and develop new skills whilst granting her the flexibility she needed. This path brought her back to Source Care where she was able to get full time work that fits around her schedule. As the new Administrative Assistant, she is able to further the aims of Source Care in providing quality care that focuses on the needs of the service user.

Since starting with Source Care in April, Taisha has gone from strength to strength and continues to impress us with her dedication and passion towards her work. As her experience grows she can speak with clients and candidates which is an aspect of the role Taisha loves doing. As well as helping Source Care expand the amount of support we can provide, Taisha has learned valuable skills that she can use in caring for her Dad.

“Taisha is a driven, compassionate and caring individual. She is an asset to our team and has demonstrated full commitment to our organisation. Being so young, I admire and am extremely proud of Taisha, who has dealt with a lot at a young age and has made hard decisions that anyone would find difficult. I have the up most respect for Taisha and love having her on the Team. Thank you, Taisha!” – Toni Hamilton, Source Care Head of Training Business Development

With the continuing help and support of Source Care, Taisha is looking forward to continuing to develop her admin role and responsibilities. Taisha is a great asset to the team who is doing an amazing job and there are a lot of exciting opportunities available in the future. We would like to thank her for all her hard work and dedication in helping service users access the care they need.

Taisha says: “I love working for Source Care and how it has given me the opportunity to develop whilst providing the flexibility I need in my life. I have learned how important it is to put the needs and wants of the service user first. You must treat them with kindness, patience, respect and dignity. I also love the quality of the care we provide and how it is all about the service user. I work closely with our carers and know they are amazing people who are dedicated to their job; it makes me proud to be a member of the Source Care team."
