COVID-19 Guidance

Here at Source Care we have been closely monitoring the position around the outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 Virus. We are adhering to government guidance and have put measures in place to ensure our Service Users and staff are kept safe.

As there has now been a change in government guidelines due to the rise of COVID-19 cases again in Britain, from Monday the 14th of September 2020 Oak Lodge will be undertaking an even stricter COVID-19 regime, Service User and Staff temperatures will be taken daily and health declaration forms will be completed weekly by both Staff and Service Users. We have also put in place stricter cleaning polices for all areas of the day centre to help keep each and every one of us safe.

Here are the measures in place:

  • Hand sanitisers by main entrance and bathroom doors

  • Clients are allocated their own space at the tables with 2-meter social distancing being observed

  • Floor markings are in place to ensure social distancing is followed

  • Hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser is prompted to clients throughout the day

  • Each client is allocated their own named basket with arts and crafts equipment in

  • This equipment is cleaned at the end of each day. All other equipment used i.e. books and puzzles, PC’s and gym equipment are cleaned after every single use

  • All staff have access to PPE, gloves, aprons and masks. Staff complete medical questionnaires relating to Coronavirus

  • Clients have been allocated set days to reduce the number of clients attending daily. 6-7 clients per day. Clients also complete a health questionnaire
